Author Guidelines

Education, Innovation and Social Futures (EISF) welcomes original, high-quality scholarly contributions within the scope of the journal.

Manuscripts should be written in clear academic English and submitted as an editable Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) file. Submissions must be original, must not have been previously published, and must not be under consideration by another journal.

Research articles should normally include, where applicable: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Literature Review/Theoretical Framework, Methodology, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Declarations, and References.

The abstract should concisely describe the purpose, methodology, principal findings, and significance of the study. Authors should provide 4–6 relevant keywords.

EISF recommends APA 7th edition style for citations and references. Every reference cited in the text must appear in the reference list, and every reference in the reference list must be cited in the manuscript. DOI information should be provided where available.

Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively and referred to in the manuscript text. Table titles should appear above tables, while figure captions should appear below figures.

Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their manuscript, references, authorship information, ethical declarations, and any necessary permissions. Research involving human participants should include appropriate ethical approval and/or informed-consent information, where applicable.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Please confirm that your submission meets the following requirements:

  • The manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not currently under consideration by another journal.
  • The manuscript is within the aims and scope of EISF.
  • The submission file is provided in an editable Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  • The manuscript has been checked for clarity, language, accuracy, and completeness.
  • The title, abstract and 4–6 keywords are provided.
  • All in-text citations correspond to entries in the reference list and vice versa.
  • References are prepared consistently, preferably according to APA 7th edition style, with DOI information included where available.
  • All tables and figures are numbered, appropriately captioned, and cited in the manuscript text.
  • All authors have approved the manuscript and agree to its submission to EISF.
  • Appropriate ethical approval, informed consent, funding, competing-interest, data-availability, and other relevant declarations are provided where applicable.
  • Any necessary permissions for copyrighted material have been obtained.

Articles accepted for publication in Education, Innovation and Social Futures (EISF) are published as open-access articles under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

Under this licence, others may share and adapt the published work for any purpose, provided appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source, a link to the licence is provided, and any changes made are indicated.

By submitting a manuscript to EISF, the author(s) confirm that the work is original, that they have the authority to submit it for publication, and that any necessary permissions for third-party copyrighted material have been obtained.

Authors grant Scientific Scholarly Publishing the right of first publication and permission to publish and disseminate the article in accordance with the journal's open-access and licensing policies.
